Money Like Water đâ¨
A way to think about stewarding money as a resource for life
Iâve been sitting with this image of money as water.
Water nourishes. It sustains life. It can flow in gentle streams, gather in deep wells, or come as a rushing river. When tended to, it nourishes communities and brings life to everything it touches. When mismanaged, it floods, stagnates, or erodes.
So too with money.
Money is not something to âgetâ but something to steward. It is a precious resource that asks us what we want to generate, cultivate, and grow. When we become clear about where our hearts wish to channel this flow into our own healing, into the lives of others, and into the world at large, we begin to open ourselves to receiving.
The question I return to again and again is simple:
What do you wish to cultivate, and how does money wish to flow through you to bring it into being?
Answering this question can help us orient to the direction we actually wish to cultivate and grow instead of operating from a place of reactiveness. We donât have to follow what other people tell us we should want and need. We donât need to listen to our compulsions or habits. We can define and articulate what it is we truly desire. Doing so is the first step to architect our relationship with money to flow to what is truly nourishing to grow a more beautiful life.
Money moves like water; it fills the channels we build for it. If we donât know what we are building toward, we donât know what we are asking for. If we donât know what we are asking for, the universe doesnât know what to give us. And if there is nowhere to channel resources to, moments of grace and resources can cause erosion or floods.
Articulate what you want from a place of love and care. Let your body and soul tell you what you are truly here to grow. Move from a place that is grander than the stories youâve been told. Sometimes our desires are actually small: a beautiful place to rest, closeness to nature, resources to care for family or friends. Getting clear on how to steward wealth like water may help you think about how to tend to the garden of your life. So that when it does rain, we can gather up the nourishment and find life in it in a lasting way.

A Note of Gratitude
I know Iâve been quieter in this space lately. Iâve been forming, storming, and listening deeply for what wishes to emerge. These offerings are the beginning.
My writing will begin to touch more themes of abundance, from my work with The Feast to The Energy of Money to Essence Energy Work and beyond. I hope these reflections serve as small rivers in your own journey, nourishing what you are called to grow.
If there are themes youâd love me to write on, I welcome your reflections.
With so much love and regard đ
